Kayla Outlaw, January 18, 2019
January 18, 2019 A southern gal, Kayla Outlaw, is a local singer-songwriter who grew up in the hill country just north of Austin, Texas in a small lake town. At just 9 years old, she began singing live and writing songs. At age 14, she hit top 40 on iTunes Belgium Christian Charts for her version of "Amazing Grace". Writing is a passion of hers that became an outlet of self-expression, reflection, and discovery of who she is as a person and as a musical artist. Nashville, Tennessee, Carbondale, Illinois, Los Angeles /Hollywood, California, and Austin, Texas are among the places she's toured with live music. She is poised to record her original debut album in Nashville this February. She was nominated by the Indie Music Channel for "Best Contemporary Country Artist of the Year 2018" and "Best Contemporary Country Female Vocalist of the Year 2018" for 2 original songs: "Sittin' Shotgun" and "Wild Horses." She is super excited to be performing at the "Rodeo Austin" 2019 outdoor stage on March 30th and at the "Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame Theater" this January 18, 2019. You can follow her on Facebook, Instagram @kaylaoutlaw, and her website http://www.kaylaoutlaw.com to stay updated on all of the upcoming events. Doing what she loves comes out loud and clear on stage. Her voice draws in those walking by and her stage presence keeps people there. Just lend your ear for 10 minutes and give her a chance to make you and the rest of the world a fan.
