Amazed
May 20, 2016, Russell Thompson Russell began singing and playing music at a very early age. He has many talents; he can play several instruments, but has a deep love for the guitar. He has traveled and ministered with many groups such as Sovereign Grace Singers, Master's Harvest, Eastern Sky and "Amazed". Russell and his wife Elisabeth also are a part of the Praise and Worship team in their church. He is a vital part of "Amazed" and Russell desires to use his God given talents to share Jesus with a lost and dying world. Elisabeth Thompson was reared in a Christian home that was musically inclined and has sung most of her life. For several years, Russell and Elisabeth have been part of the Praise and Worship team in their church. She has a passion for sharing the love, grace, and mercy of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Being a part of the ministry of "Amazed" is a blessing, and a great opportunity to share the love of Jesus. It is her desire to share Jesus so that souls are saved and delivered from the hand of the enemy. Milissa Beechem's mother, father, and other family members inspired her love of music. Singing at the age of 3 in church where her father was a minister, she amazed others by her big voice from her little body. The family traveled all over the U.S. singing and spreading God's love. The family singing group, known as the "Sovereign Grace Singers", recorded an album when Milissa was nine. Milissa's father passed away when she was 14 so they stopped traveling. When she was 16, Milissa, her mother, brother and his wife, Elisabeth, began singing with a group called "Master's Harvest" and they recorded an album called "Master's Harvest". She graduated from Troy High School, and later graduated from Baylor University with a degree in education. In 1990, Milissa married Michael Beechem, and was blessed with her daughter, Cortney in 1995. Milissa, sister, Kim Watson, brother, Russell Thompson, and sister-in-law Elisabeth Thompson, are now singing together in the group called "Amazed". Kim Waston always felt a calling to sing for Jesus, but didn't answer that call until about six years ago. When God calls you, He will provide what you need. When she sings, you can see that it is straight from her heart, and she really believes every word. It is truly the desire of her heart to sing for Jesus and lift up His name. John and Kim consider it an honor and a privilege to be called to spread the gospel of Christ, anywhere they are led. To our Great GOD be all the glory John Waston wears many hats in the "Amazed" ministry. He is the sound engineer, bus driver, photographer, and manages the group.
