The Undead Joe Trio
May 15, 2014 The Undead Joe Trio is a group of three young men: Joe Myers (vocals/guitar), Bart Sharp (lead guitar), and Robert Carter (upright bass). Due to unexpected difficulties, band members Robert Carter and Joe Myers were unable to provide a biography. Lead guitar player, Bart Sharp grew up in Ft. Worth, TX, and started playing guitar, seriously, about 5 or 6 years ago. To make up for lost time, he found good guitar teachers who helped him with his style of playing. While growing up, he listened to albums his dad played...Barney Kessel, Merle Haggard, Jerry Reed, Buck Owens, and Don Rich. His style of playing is a combination of these influences. Like most good lead players, he learned from other successful players and incorporated their guitar licks into his playing style. Bart says playing in ?The Undead Joe Trio? is a blast, and he tries to challenge himself in every gig to play something different, even just a couple of new licks. Bart says Joe Myers, in their band, wrote some fabulous songs. Bart gets to express himself a bit more on those original songs instead of playing only cover tunes. A full time job limits his unquenchable thirst to play guitar every day. Bart says he wouldn?t be anything without the LORD, and thanks HIM daily for the blessings HE has bestowed upon his life and family.
