Dec. 20, 2013 David Allen our featured entertainer for December 20, 2013, is a Country Gospel Music recording artist. He received the Silver Heart Award of 2007, an award from the Country Gospel Music Association of Branson, MO, and also, Psalmist of the Year from the Central USA Division. A man with a wonderful singing voice that should please your ears, he produced and recorded 12 professional recordings and CD's of Christian Country Gospel Music. David wrote and recorded hundreds of songs that inspired many people around the world. He was born in Haskell, Texas in 1941. David's heart and love is in Texas where he was reared on a family farm. He now resides in his hometown of Weinert, Texas with his wife, Peggy Joyce. They have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. He is the Founder and President of the Heart of Love International Ministries. He is a gospel music recording artist, and music award winner. For 30 years, he was active in leading missionary tours and acts of mercy in third-world countries such as Mexico, Haiti, and Russia. From 1962 to 2008 he served as a pulpit minister for 10 different churches. David's evangelistic work includes prison outreach, special camps for teenagers, radio and television ministry, border missions, seniors RV parks, children's homes, and evangelism meetings and seminars. David received his Bible Degree from Abilene Christian College in Texas. He traveled and ministered in 30 foreign countries and all of the states in the USA. He began leading prayer meetings in Washington, DC and was involved in a revival of prayer during presidential elections. He was one of the original prayer intercessors involved in the "Washington for Jesus" march in 1980. He was invited to be part of the 2001 presidential inauguration. At present, David is writing new books and songs for his "Heart of Love" library.
