Nov. 15, 2013 Jay & Tammy Roy are professional, talented musicians possessing broad generational appeal. Their repertoire exceeds 1000 vocal and instrumentals spanning nearly a century of American music from Swing, Big Band Era, Classic Country, Western, and pop favorites. Their "Toe-Tapping music" and medleys bring dancers to the floor in great numbers. They have wide geographic appeal from the winter meccas of Southern Texas and Arizona to summers in the mountains of Colorado, the bayous of Louisiana to Inns along the eastern seaboard. They enjoy many return engagements, and in several locations, appeared seasonally for over ten years. Their music includes special events, such as German Oktoberfest Music or uniquely regional music such as French Canadian, and Spanish. They book dances and/or shows at Church Parish Halls, lodges, resorts, campgrounds, fraternal organizations, recreational centers, R.V. rallies, restaurants, inns, and community events. Jay received the 2008 and 2009 "Families Advocating Moral Entertainment" (FAME) award for "Musician of the Year" and "Lead Guitarist of the Year". Tammy received the "FAME 2008 Directors" award and "2009 FAME Bassist of The Year Award", "Vocalist of the Year" award and "Song of the Year" award for the beautiful song "On My Fathers Side" written by Jan Buckner. This 2013 - 2014 Winter Season will be their 25th year booking RV Resorts in The Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. They played Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington for "The Best of Texas Festival", Good Sam Samborees for the following States, Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maryland, FMCA 6-State Rallies, 1999 FMCA International Rally in Ames, Iowa, the Fiddlers and Followers Week-end in N. Rustico, Prince Edward Island Canada, the Silver Fox Yacht and Curling Club in Summerside, Prince Edward Island Canada, Fox Mountain Country Music Festival in Aylsford, Nova Scotia, Wahoo Country Music Festival in Wahoo, Nebraska, and Pearl Schoolhouse in Pearl, TX.
