Ed & Juanita Reigle and The Good Timers
Feb. 21, 2014 Ed Reigle and the "Good Timers" are a high energy band made up musicians in their 20's and one in his early thirties. Although a little older, Ed and Juanita formed the band made up of 4 gentlemen plus Ed and Juanita. Ed enjoys having a young group that can infuse some liveliness into the music. Ed formed the band "Borderline" in 1980 and they played together for 10 years. They played from Llano to Texarkana and in every honky tonk along the way. Ed has played rhythm guitar for 60 years. He's an old rock and roller, but loves the old country and gospel songs. Sean Craddock, 28 years old, is Ed's grandson and plays lead guitar. He also helps with vocals. Tim Mathews, 29 years old from Austin, also plays lead and does vocals. Tim has played guitar from the time he could walk and talk. Matt McDonald, 27 years old, is a professional drummer who plays with several bands throughout the state. Ricky Poste is in his early 30's, and is the new comer to the group. He plays bass. The audience should enjoy this band because they play a mixture of "high energy, upbeat" country and Rock & Roll songs. The "Good Timers" have played together off and on for about 6 or 7 years. Each of the 4 young men had their own bands, at one time or another. Like most musicians, these men love to play and are willing to play any time. They often play with other bands. And, like many musicians they often play for community events and parties. Ed says, "Look for the rafters to rattle."
